Yes, all basic company data is completely free. There are no hidden fees or limits on the number of searches.

All data comes from the daily publications of the Registry Agency, uploaded to the MEU open data website. It is published there under the CC-BY license, which allows free access and distribution with attribution. We download, process, and provide it in a convenient format for you every day.

We strive to be as fast as possible. We check the Registry Agency publications daily. This means that upon successful registration in the Commercial Register, the data will be in TheCompanyBook within 24-48 hours.

Our data is also available via HTTP API. Access is also free, but we apply a limit of 100 requests per minute per IP address to limit the load on our servers. You can read more in our documentation.

The Registry Agency allows companies to declare a phone number and/or email for contact. We provide this information free of charge for all companies that have chosen to declare this information.

You can search by UIC, company name, region, or activity. Simply enter your search in the field above or select the advanced search option.

In TheCompanyBook you can find all data published for a legal entity in the Commercial Register: name, address, contact information, management, owners, etc.

Yes. The Registry Agency provides this data publicly under the CC-BY license, which allows free use and distribution, even for commercial purposes, as long as copyright is acknowledged. If you wish to use company contact information for commercial purposes, we recommend that you familiarize yourself with the relevant advertising rules of the Personal Data Protection Commission (CPDP).

The official Commercial Register website is located at https://portal.registryagency.bg/. There you can always find the most recent information about all enterprises in the country. We provide a copy of this information in a more accessible format, as well as the ability to integrate with code through our API.

TheCompanyBook provides all non-financial information from the Commercial Register completely free of charge, including contact information for enterprises where available. Unlike other sites, we don't place ads on our website. Part of the reason we provide this service for free stems from our belief that this information and the ability to access it easily and via API are of legitimate interest to many Bulgarian citizens and businesses. We are grateful to the Registry Agency for regularly publishing their data online in machine-readable format, and we want to help disseminate it by providing this service.

Yes, you can download some filings including Annual Financial Statements (ГФО), Income and Expense Reports (ОПР), and Balance Sheets. We also have other types of documents that we are releasing gradually as we want to ensure we don't leak personal data of the people who filed them.

An account is required to download files. We need to implement this measure to manage bandwidth costs, as file downloads are expensive.
